The Wise Father & His Four Sons

A story about the Father’s love, and the great lengths He will go to to reveal to us all the perishing idols of this world, and where true fullness lies.

What Readers are Saying

I bought The Wise Father and His Four Sons on a friend’s recommendation, and honestly, I didn’t know exactly what to expect at first. But the cover immediately drew me in, and I’m so glad I gave it a chance. I read it to my sons, who are four and seven, during our bedtime routine, and they were absolutely captivated. The illustrations are just gorgeous, and the storytelling is both heartfelt and clever. It’s one of those picture books that you notice new details in each time you read it, and it has a really lovely message at its core. My kids were beaming by the end, especially when the little twist in the story was revealed. It’s definitely a 10 out of 10 from us. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a beautifully illustrated book that both kids and parents will enjoy

This is a great story about what is really needed for enrichment and to fill your home. The story, its delivery, its message and illustrations are sure to capture the imagination. This is an ideal faith based book to teach your kids that “ having the most toys” won’t make you happy.

A delightful children’s book written and illustrated with the wonder and awe of an old time fairy tale. Sure to enchant both young and old readers alike, this story offers an important lesson for all those who heed it.

A great children’s book written in a classical, very clever manner. Daniel creates a family type story that will keep your child locked in until the end. The pictures and artwork are absolutely stunning as well. A definite, must read for families and young children.

Daniel Pishock

About the Author

Daniel Pishock is a father who began mentally writing the Wise Father & His Four Sons after reading a Persian folk tale at the age of twelve. After the birth of his first child, he began reciting this tale to his son at night. The story began to evolve and the birth of his second child the story began to root. For next decade he searched for an illustrator to turn this bedtime story into a book.
